Writing the College Essay -- Summer 2008
Workshop Format
This workshop guides students through the process of writing a college application essay from initial idea to final proofing. The class meets for six sessions, each session is two hours. The format includes writing exercises to generate ideas, group discussion, peer editing, formal evaluations and revisions. The final session w

ill be a one-on-one meeting with each student to polish and proofread the final product.
Fee: $150
Max. 4 students

WORD for Writers

Three-hour workshop   Fee: $45

This class will give an introductory lesson on the features of Microsoft WORD, from paginating and page formatting to using the built-in word tools such as spell check and the thesaurus.
