2008 Summer Writing Retreat

July 25 - 27, 2008

Join us for creative writing with three award-winning writers who will facilitate writing workshops in poetry, memoir writing and essays in the beautiful setting of Blaisdell Lake in Sutton, New Hampshire. You will have time to relax, hike, and gather with fellow writers in an environment that fosters creativity.

Presenters include poet K.B. Ballentine, memoirist Jodi Dougherty, and journalist Deb McKew. You will have the opportunity to submit manuscripts for individual critique.

The Retreat will begin on Friday, July 25. Check in will be between 5:30 and 6:30 pm.

The sessions will end on Sunday afternoon, July 27. Upon registration, participants will receive a complete packet of information. Meals and accommodations are included*.
Optional massage therapies will be available.

$425/per person – private room
$350/per person – shared accommodations
$225/per person – day rate (includes some meals)
$25 discount for current Words in Play workshop students
