Every writer needs an editor. Even Ernest Hemingway had an editor. He rewrote the ending to his classic novel "Farewell to Arms" 39 times.
Writing is not a solitary act. Good writing comes from stepping back, getting perspective and feedback, then revising and rewriting. Good editing is not about putting the commas in the right places, it's about getting the writer to "see again."
I offer the following editing services:
• Feedback on manuscripts
• Copy editing - line edits
• Proofreading

"As an author, editor, and fiction writing workshop instructor, I have had the good fortune of working with Deb on a variety of projects, including feature articles, book chapters, and writing workshops. She is an excellent writer and sharp editor, and one of my favorite collaborators. For a decade, I have counted on Deb for inspiration, editorial insight, and encouragement. She has NEVER let me down and has considerably enhanced every project through her multi-faceted contributions."
